Born in Manchester England in 1951.  I loved drawing for as long as I can remember.

My husband and I had our own buisness where

I worked in Engineering Design and Illustrating.

We raised three children, Zoe, Paul, and Lee which did not give me much time to draw or paint.  I knew that I had talent in there somewhere.

When we arrived in Suffolk, VA in 2008, it was the first time I had the chance to focus on my dream of painting. I trained with Robert Le Masters. I remembered how I loved drawing horses in my youth and had the idea to paint big horses.  I had immediate success and received great press.

I was then recognized as "The Horse Lady".

At the 40th Anniversary of Secretariat's winning of the triple crown, I presented my painting of Secretariat and Foal to Penny and their team.  As my work flourished, seven of my paintings were chosen for the  'Galloping to Glory' exhibition at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. I have collectors across the country, including a painting of Mare which hangs in Senator Mark Warner's office on Capital Hill..

I have supported my husband Mike all my life and he is certainly doing the same for me now.  He frames and photographs my paintings as well as running around for me endlessly.  I couldn't do this without him.
